Appiani - Technical ceramics: from mosaic to large formats
Ceramica Appiani has been present on the market for over 130 years.
15 years ago the company developed a production of ceramic mosaic using the exclusive „single-press-firing“ technology („monopressocottura“).
Single press-firing makes it possible to obtain virtually unique ceramic products: previously atomised glazes and clays are combined by permeation through dry pressing. The firing cycle at a temperature of over 1200ºC enhances the exceptional aesthetic qualities, long life and resistance of the product. These characteristics make the products ideal for a wide range of different applications, indoors and outdoors, for both floors and wall tiling.
The main objective of the company is to provide a new coordinated system of ceramic products for indoor and outdoor floorings and coverings which could answer any requests of modern architectural design. -
